Client Introduction
Begin with a secure, straight forward questionnaire completed at your leisure, in one session or multiple, to ensure that all of your pertinent information is included in the decision-making process.
Once this questionnaire is submitted, Andy will analyze your situation to make an initial determination about how your individual and family needs should be addressed in your estate plan.
A consultation with Andy will be scheduled at a time convenient for you. Your options, questions, and concerns will be addressed. This discussion will inform Andy's strategy for your individual and family situation.
After the initial consultation, our team drafts your estate planning documents and gives you access to your documents via our secure cloud platform. After you have reviewed your draft documents, our team makes revisions and a further consultation will be scheduled if needed.
Once all outstanding questions have been resolved, any necessary updates will be made to your documents. Final estate planning documents will be mailed to you with detailed instructions on how to proceed with signing or executing your documents or if you prefer, a meeting can be scheduled with Andy.
Many people obtain living trusts from purely on-line services, but then do not “fund” their living trust. Only those assets formally transferred into the living trust will reap its benefits – i.e. avoid probate. Establishing a living trust and then failing to fund it is a waste of time and money, leaving your assets exposed to expensive and lengthy probate, as well as potential threats from creditors.
While funding is ultimately the responsibility of the trust creator, Miner Law Offices helps initiate the final stages, like funding, speeding along the process of ensuring your estate plan is put into effect, protecting your loved ones' financial futures.
